Eagles and Lady Eagles look back at successful 2017 season

October, 2017

Dayton, TN —  The Rhea County High School Golf team held their annual banquet with players and family at the Gondolier Restaurant in Dayton recently.  The boys’ team celebrated the 7-3 record and the girls team celebrated their 6-3 record.  Team honored seniors and gave out awards to special performers as well as awarding varsity letters.

Boys Awards for the season:

Seniors:

Russell Green – Most Valuable Player

Jackson Lytle – Birdies Award

C.J. Smith –  Senior “Golden Eagle ” Award

Sophomores:

Phillip Rogers – Varsity Letter

Freshman:

Kevin Rothwell Varsity Letter & “Pars ” Award

Cole Prince –  Varsity Letter

Cooper Ruehling  – Varsity Letter &  2017 Impact Award

Girls Team Awards:

Juniors:

Lesley Green – Varsity Letter &  “Pars ” Award

Chirsten “CJ” Sneed –  Varsity Letter , & “Birdies ” Award

Coach Nathan Talley and Assistant Scott Arnold sent out his thanks to parents and  grandparents of Rhea County High School golfers.   He also sent a special thank you to Dayton Golf and Country Club and the Tennessee Hills Golf Club.
