Evensville, TN — The 2017 Rhea County Cheer Camp brought smiles to faces of campers, counselors and family alike on Friday and throughout the week. The Rhea County High School Cheerleaders served as coaches for children from pre-kindergarten up through 5th grade and the cheer teams for Rhea Middle School, Dayton City School and Spring City Middle School. The middle school cheer teams worked with Rhea County High School cheer members and their own coaches to work on cheers.

During the week the cheer campers had dress up days(animals and PJs).  The worked on cheers, tumbling, dancing and played a few games along the way.   Friday was the finale performance before a large crowd of family and friends.  From the reaction of the crowd, they were well please with the performance.  From the youngest to the oldest, the routines were entertaining.

After the performance, the campers were recognized for their winning the jump off and dance off that was held earlier in the week.  Lastly they All-County team was announced and then campers said farewells to counselors and fellow campers alike.
