PumpkinFest Friday and Saturday in Downtown Dayton

October 27, 2017

Dayton, TN — PumpkinFest is Friday and Saturday October 27-28, 2017 in Downtown Dayton. This is the 12th year and Main Street is excited to bring new events this year, and to get the community more involved.

PumpkinFest was originally intended to be an alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. In the last 12 years it has grown into a 2 day, 100+ vendor event, with more than 10,000 attendees.

PumpkinFest opens today at noon when food and craft vendors open.  There will also be sidewalk and in store sales today from noon until 8 pm.  There will be activities throughout the weekend, including 5K Muddy Pumpkin Run, hay rides, painted pumpkins, Pumpkin Pie eating, pumpkin chunkin contest, Choo Choo clogers, Lazy J’s Dance performance, Trick or Treating, Halloween Costume Contest and plenty of others performers on the Centennial Park Stage.

Stop by Paint the Town Pottery and Gifts on Saturday for Costume Pictures by Rhea Review.   Prizes will be awarded for the top costumes.  Pics taken from 5 pm until 8 pm on Saturday.

Check out full schedule below as well as pics from last years costumed trick or treaters.
