Over 600 expected to attend

Evensville, TN — The Give-A-Kid-A-Chance Event will be held on Thursday, 20th of July July from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Rhea Middle School at 405 Pierce Road in Evensville, Tennessee.
Open to all Rhea County school age children. Vendors will be handing out free school supplies, giving hair cuts, doing lice checks, and providing many resources for parents. Children that have pre-registered and confirmed annual EPSDT ( Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment exam) will receive additional supplies and hygiene products while supplies last.
Pre registration ends July 14th for screening services. The event is expecting 600 children to attend this year. For those that did not, they register may schedule a screening the day of the event.
As always without sponsors this program would not happen. Sponsors this year are the Herald News; Nationwide Insurance, Mark and Ron Travis; Representative Ron Travis; Dayton Pediatrics; Volunteer Electrical Cooperative, Dayton Utility Grant Board, Bright Beginnings, Rhea Medical Center and Dayton Drug and Wellness.
